Great service and food as always

Having been to your bistro on a few occasions before i felt this was the worst nite ever. My table was booked for 6:30 and i arrived at 5:30 to await my guests and to have a drink before dining, as my wife and i sat down after letting the staff know i was there so i could open a tab behind the bar i was given menus to study having told the waitress that we were not dining until 6:30 and we was waiting for guests i thought they had got the message , on three different occasions i was asked if we were ready to order, this now was making me and my wife uncomfortable being rushed so they could finish early i can only presume. Then when we did order our food i had to send my steak back 3 times as every time it was not cooked to how i asked for it , this now made me angry as my guests were all eating and i had to wait for 3 attempts to get my food to me , I was not charged for my meal as a good will gesture but the whole night was marred by unprofessional staff Even when i order a fruit cider from the bar i was given a plain cider and my friend order a bottled cider when the lad behind the bar was pouring it he spilt some , he did not have a clue what to do he did not apologise nor did he offer to replace the bottle as we were paying for it i expect to get what i pay for . Sorry for all the negative feed back but if nothing is said nothing is done about it. Saying that though i probably will thing twice about visiting your bistro again .

disabled toilet was disgusting. Toilet was all blocked door lock would not lock

A vast improvement on the menu and the interior since being taken over, very good choice of foods for vegetarians too
