The food was up to the usual standard although 1 of our party was disappointed that the vegetables were cold. Will not stop us from being back again soon

All enjoyed a lovely lunch. Quite a long wait but worthwhile as it was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is that you sharpen the knives or get serrated edge ones as it was difficult to cut even the Yorkshire puds.

Can’t fault the staff, waited an hour for mains due to al large group, fair enough. Vegan pudding came out with chocolate straws that were not vegan. Only found out because we asked.

I had lunch recently at the Anchor with a friend just before Xmas. It was really nice. Thanks Mark (Potter's Field)
