We had a most pleasant meal at the Anchor Inn. I enjoyed the king prawns with chilli starter and whole sea bass on the bone . Most tasty. I like to have green vegetables with my meal, so marked 9 out of 10 for food. The staff were warm and friendly and did a good job. There was no tea bag in the tea pot, but quickly corrected. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience.

Yes, have used you before and will do again the week after next. As seems to be in line with other facilities these days portion 2 BIG. Did speak to the food runner and said I can have a child's portion. Sure many of your clients are of my age like me (late 70s), also would have thought less quantity would mean a higher profit margin for you. See you in a couple of weeks. Best Mike.

We visited The Anchor Inn in September, for a late afternoon Sunday roast for my friend who absolutely loved his roast dinner followed by what he described as “the best” sticky toffee pudding and ice cream he’d ever eaten (high praise indeed ). Staff were accommodating to my very special dietary needs and I was happy to be able to accompany my friend to dinner whilst I ate a few bits of my own. Thank you very much for such a lovely afternoon. We were really pleased that we found you and would highly recommend your pub for a good quality Sunday dinner.
