One of our party of six was in a wheelchair. The lovely folk at The Anchor could not have been more accommodating and made sure that we all had a most enjoyable lunch.

Staff cleared plates, never returned to ask if dessert wanted or more drinks. When we went to order at the bar after 20 mins told be quick kitchen is closing. We thanked staff as we left but neither even acknowledged us. No one else was in the bar and it was not busy.

The meal was faultless. They catered for 20 guests and food arrived as soon as we were ready to eat. The portions were really generous and food was delicious. The service was fantastic. We were well looked after and enjoyed access to the small courtyard at the back. Overall a brilliant experience which made for a special hen lunch

Had a great evening at the Anchor..Family gathering for Golden Wedding celebration.the food was excellent.. the staff were absolutely brilliant. And the atmosphere was just right.would recommend the ANCHOR INN to anyone..

All was fantastic!
Unfortunately the anchor was empty of customers ! My food was ok, but my sisters food wasn’t good, hot food really shouldn’t be served on a cold plate!!! This visit was a return trip as previously the meal was excellent.
