Service was very swift. Staff pleasant and professional. Our group was very impressed by how quickly our food arrived and everyone enjoyed their lunch.

My wife and I incvited a guest for lunch, se this pub, as we have enjoyed lunch here twice in the last 6 months. This time the menu had far fewer specials, more standard pub fare. Disappointing. Also, one of the waitresses was still recovering from a cold, so was definitely not sparkling in conversation or appearance.
