The pub is very attractive in itself, but the Christmas tree and decorations are great. We very much enjoyed our Christmas lunch. The staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly, very efficient. And all good value for money, too! Thank you, the Anchor Team, and Merry Christmas.

Great food and service from The Anchor as always! Our large table for Christmas lunch was well looked after before and during our meal. Everyone loved the atmosphere and open fire, perfect! Thank you again.

Lunch in the Snug- all was fine even though 2 group Christmas lunches in the main area made it a bit noisy.

Booked because all day serving, and needed a late lunch. Good pub grub quickly served by very friendly and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere.
