This is my favourite pub in the area. So welcoming, such good food and drink choices. The staff are super friendly and attentive, you really can’t go wrong.

All very good except the salmon and prawns were prawnless
Six of us enjoyed a splendid lunch in the Anchor yesterday (25th March). We were immediately made to feel very welcome, and were looked after superbly by two female members of staff - I'm sorry I don't have their names. The menu choices were extensive, the food of top quality, the portions generous, and all very good value for money. The pub itself is comfortable and relaxed, with a number of interesting features. So, impressed all round, but it was the service that really sparkled. WE SHALL RETURN!
