We all enjoyed our lunch. Although you seemed quite busy service was good. The waiter who served us was very pleasant.

Food was excellent! Personally, I found the portion of the roast Turkey too big. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will come back!

It was really cold in the dining room in spite there being two log fires alight. Unfortunately there was a table right in front of one fire which seemed to block any heat from circulating into the room.

We felt very welcome from the outset and The Anchor is somewhere to savour, not just the food but the ambience of the pub itself
