We enjoyed our evening in the Anchor, the staff were great and attentive. Most of our food was fine but not amazing, but one of our friends had a very poor vegetarian thai curry that she couldn’t eat. It was not well served, it was bland, no zing from thai flavours and a very limited choice of vegetables (onions and peppers). She left it all and had the poppadum and a pudding. I just wanted to let you know this do that you can let the chef know. Thank you for the good service.

We visit from btighton and rely on public transport so do not make it as often as we would wish but every time is an absolute treat.

Good choice, lovely food and large portions that won’t break the bank! Staff were prompt, vigilant without being intrusive.

Lovely pub, fab staff and delicious Sunday roast! The roast potatoes were sooo good

Both chicken meals were good but my husbands roast beef was overdone when told it would be medium or possible a bit rare as first customer to order this. Unfortunately there was a large birthday party which was rather disturbing for our elderly mother - so much noise and dogs barking did not make for a pleasant lunch☹️
