Our Sunday lunch was excellent - great quality and cookery - we particularly enjoyed the roast potatoes! Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambience of the pub relaxed and comfortable. Our only slight niggle was the price of the wine by the glass - we were offered a choice of two roses but weren’t aware that our choice would be nearly £9 for a standard glass. It might be better to show the wine list so that customers can decide with price in mind? However, the wine was top quality, so we didn’t let it spoil our experience!

Great meal and atmosphere as usual. Particularly great too are the girls who serve us - lots of banter and laughs!

Good experience as always. If being constructive (not complaining) I would say that I miss the fish and chips and ploughmans. Also something like a crispy beef noodle salad would go down well. Lovely pub!
