My family and I have been coming in the Anchor Inn for years. The team as simply amazing, warm and always helpful and accommodating. Brilliant with kids and the food is lovely! Always an event on such as the brilliant quiz night, or Christmas markets and most recently the earthquake appeal. Recently hosted a meal for nearly 20 without any fault.

We initially were sat by the musicians which spoiled the event. Too loud and we could not hear each other speak. Good musicians though. We were kindly moved to a quieter part of the restaurant for desert. We have booked again for next week and hopefully will be a bit quieter. Thanks You Sue Bottomley

A delightful time spent having Sunday lunch to a some live jazz music!. Second time we have visited this pub in February. Great food and great service.

The Valentines menu was really good I couldn't choose and when our meals came to the table we weren't disappointed. Staff were really friendly and chatty as always. Well done everyone

Great atmosphere and service. Steak & Ale pie was exceptional.
Yes well I did ask for a reduced portion size(Steak & Ale Pie) as has been requested on previous visits can't eat full portions and when the meal arrived was told could not serve it smaller. Not good I'm afraid !!!!. Much to my dislike I did leave some food again not good. Regards.
