It’s our third year running of having our Christmas lunch at the Anchor. The food was delicious- the lamb dish was sublime. The service is friendly, professional and so welcoming. The atmosphere was cosy and gave you a warm hug. Thank you to all the team but especially Lydia

Hello. I hope you take this as constructive. We sometimes book and sometimes not, and the Anchor is one of our regular few. We’ve had many good meals there, yesterdays booking was a little disappointing. My harissa chicken burger had no harissa mayo so had to ask for it as was very dry without. The smoked fish cakes were 90% potato and you could barely spot a flake of fish here and there.
