We were hoping with, I believe, a new Chef that the menu would have changed it seems that it hasn’t changed for a long time. The wine selection is great, thank you.

First time ever we had an average meal (sorry). The lasagne was over cooked and quiet dry although had a good flavour. The crème brûlée was lovely but served with shop bought lady finger sponges the sort you make trifle with. I’m sure this was a one off and of course we will be back as we love the Anchor and the fab staff

Had a very good impromptu lunch, we phoned last minute in bank holiday Monday and they squeezed us in! It was really good we had mussels and harissa chicken burgers, both were really good- we’ll be back!
