Second time here. Excellent table service. My grandson loved 6oz Anchor burger!

We have been twice now and cannot fault the food at all fantastic . It’s strange and I don’t want to pick anyone up . Yet both times communication starters have arrived late or at the same time as mains . Staff were brilliant and gave us free drinks or pudding . Why can’t this be sorted out ? Saying that it’s that good we will still return thank you .

Good food , nice sized dining tables and very nice pub inside - would have liked a wine list at table first instead of being asked what would we like to drink from a laptop.

It was nice to have a seafood dish with plenty of seafood instead of lots of pasta.

Went with Family for a meal and sat in the Garden. The food was great and the service was excellent. Not pushy or disturbing. Highly recommend.

Food was undercooked couldn’t cut the brocoli, parsnips weren’t roasted , the meat was so tough couldn’t get our knife through it , we have never had beef like it , couldn’t make up our mind what beef was in front of us , to top it all our dinners were swimming in gravy . Gravy and veg should come out separately . Sorry but that’s what it was like.. Mary May.
The waitresses made sure we had everything we needed and were very welcoming.
