Love the Anchor. The food is always great, lovely staff and good booze. We’re so lucky to have such a brilliant local. The only thing I would suggest is getting a different changing table. The one currently in situ in the ladies loos is really high so it’s very difficult to reach the baby. I have no idea how anyone would change a newborn as it slopes downward and I really struggled with a 7 month old who has good neck control. Even just lying down the baby is hard because it’s very cramped as well and there’s nowhere to put any of the stuff you need so maybe a hook or something would be helpful. Otherwise brilliant as always. Thank you to all the staff.

We will be visiting again, I will just point out the baby changing shelf is a tad high.. changing a nappy under ya chin is a challenge but at least they have one . Best chips I've tasted in a long while. We will be back.

Couple of our group thought it was over priced for the portion sizes … 6 mussels overcooked and a couple of prawns on the main course which was £14.50. Great service and most food excellent!

Everything we had tasted slightly burnt.Wonder if the cooking oil should be changed more often.
