This was our first visit. Most impressed by the staff who worked hard and were very polite. My beef wasn't that tender but the accompaniments were tasty. Slightly puzzled by my pudding. Nothing like cheesecake but pleasant to eat. All in all we enjoyed it.

Thinking about my meal afterwards I realised my thai fish curry didn't have any fish in it! It only had shellfish and two large prawns. I should have mentioned this at the time if I'd been more alert.

Very good service pleasent atmosphere very friendly waitress for good knives could have been a bit sharper for the food we had but worth going and would recommend

Have only just moved in to the area and having such a fantastic place as The Anchor close by is perfect!! Food, drinks, service and ambience all.
