Great pub with very friendly service. Fish and chips were great and the chips were the best we have had for a while. Burgers were a little disappointing.

The service was somewhat slow, especially in taking our order and then the food took a long time. you seemed a bit understaffed. We were a group of friends on a rare get together so happy to take time. VERY pleased to see that you give more than 1 .5 hours for the table which some places do. We'll be back. Amazing brownies.

Really enjoyed my first visit to the Anchor Inn for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly & helpful.The sunday roast was excellent with ample portions. Will be making a return visit in the future.

Very enjoyable
The sandwich and ploughman contain virtually the same contents but the sandwich was much cheaper and better. Ploughman was disappointing.
