Another great meal at a great pub. Atmosphere was great as it was packed. Hats off to Lydia, Lee and Matt.

Always good. Only one downside is toddlers running about. We stopped going to the Greenman up the road because of it turning into a playgroup, hope the Anchor doesn't go the same way but I see no reason why not unfortunately.

Not all of the food was great - ribs were dry and meat was tough. Barely any onion in the o.rings. Corn on cob was soggy and tasted weird. Drink was spilt over a guest (down their back) Slow to clear plates and pub was very busy (hard to move around) Friendly staff however and good drinks

The fish pie was lovely and the roasted veg and salad was a nice accompaniment.
