Amazing sunday roast, super friendly staff - you can't get better for a trad pub lunch on a sunday

Yet again another superb meal - we love your Sunday roast! Service is excellent, efficient and friendly- special mention must go to Lydia, she is hard working, professional and makes you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff - they make the Anchor a fabulous place to eat. Just so sorry you are having to close for the next month - we have booked for December and hopefully will be with you Christmas Day. Keep strong and safe and see you all on the other side

Excellent again. Great food, beer & service.
Another fab meal - thank you! Bought a couple of friends that had not visited before and they have already said let’s book as soon as lockdown over. As a family we will miss the Anchor being open - we have really enjoyed our meals out! We will see you all in December- take care to you all x
