The drinks were perfect, and we were looked after brilliantly. A lovely buzzy atmosphere without being rowdy or too noisy. The lovely way that Libby was included and looked after made the evening even better, and the dogs were treated to a dog biscuit each. Burgers were brilliant, fish and chips were fabulous, and the prawn linguini was lovely. Puds were perfect.

The lunch was fabulous, the food was great and the staff were so attentive and cheerful. We have been there before and always been so satisfied . We will definitely come again . Thank you for such a lovely afternoon.

wow what can i say from start to finish the service was fa-nominal even if i did constantly change the size of the booking, the food was Cooked fresh and the staff were fantastic especially the young lad that was there he was very much liked by the elderly ladies on the trip.

I went with my parents and two teenage daughters for lunch at The Anchor Inn, we have been quite a few times now and really enjoy the good quality food and cheerful staff. The food is very well cooked, but I would like to mention that putting roast potatoes at the bottom of a plate, and then covering it with meat/chicken and gravy makes them soggy. I would also have liked to see a few more vegetables. The desserts were amazing (sadly for my waist-line!) I also loved the fact that there was a very good jazz band playing in the garden. We will be back!
