Thoroughly enjoyable. Fairly priced. Great pub to eat out.

We booked a table for 8. Arrived. Only 5 chairs. Got a drink very quickly. Order of food was 20 mins later. Food was great as usual. Seriously though service was poor but never normally like this

Overall a positive experience but staff need to be trained to be more attentive to spotting clients' signals and needs, especially out in the garden.

Menu seemed a little limited and a little more expensive than our last visit. Scampi and chips was very basic for £14. All OK, but a little disappointing

We were greeted when we arrived and shown to our table. They took an order for drinks and brought menus promptly. The prawn, clam and mussel linguine was hot and delicious and plenty of it. The individual bakewell tart was very good. Only disappointment was the miniscule jug of custard. All in all very good though

Food was excellent and waitresses very obliging. My husband especially enjoyed his Crème Brûlée. Thank you.
