Sausages were great! Could you consider putting gammon steak on the menu?, please. Thanks

Really nice food although sadly on this occasion we waited close to an hour after our main course before we were even offered sight of the desert menu. Sadly the coffee machine was also not working and had to ask for coffees charged which couldn’t be provided to be removed from the bill. It felt that the service attention just was not there this weekend.

This is our third meal here and we will keep coming back for more. The food is amazing for a village pub and the atmosphere is friendly and comforting. A brilliant experience all round.

Great Sunday Lunch

I looked on line for a nice pub to take my parents and children for Sunday lunch and came across The Anchor Inn. It looked like it would be good value for money and the menu looked good. The staff were really lovely and attentive and the pub had a really homely atmosphere. Most of our party had the roast chicken and my daughters had burgers. The food was really nicely presented and was very tasty, not a morsel was left on the plate! We all had deserts and really enjoyed them. I really felt that we got value for our money and we will definitely be back!

What a great evening! Started off with a lovely dinner (which catered for all the dietary requirements of our group) and then moved on to a fantastic quiz. Very friendly service with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The real log fire is a lovely touch. Great advice on our choice of drinks (huge range and lots of alcohol free alternatives). Thank you.
