We had a great meal, not only was the food beautiful, the staff were friendly and welcoming ❤️

Having had a slight indifferent experience in the summer we felt that based on current reviews that we would give it another go. We had a table or four. We prebooked the table on arrival meet by a lovely pleasant & polite waitress who took us to our table. We had 4 starters & 4 mains with drinks and during our meal we were approached by the waiter & waitress enquiring about the food which was great lovely starters & the main courses were also great. It is a very nice pub with a busy atmosphere it clashed with a Crib night which was no issue but keep putting the coals on the fire lol. We will have no hesitation in returning & recommending to our friends. Steve

What a fabulous night. The haggis was sensational, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was incredible. The staff were brilliant, all dressed up and having great fun without compromising their excellent service, and the complimentary band was brilliant. Thank you for making our NYE such fun.

The epitome of an English pub, with lovely locals, fabulous food, brilliant beer, roaring fires, dogs and smashing staff.
