Love this pub in every way! Food is so good and plenty of it! The pub is so cosy with a lovely open fire. Staff are polite, friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience even better.

Booked the anckor inn for 11 people the food came out all together and was amazing the staff were fantastic especially as we were a bit roudy sorry if we upset anyone staff were also brilliant putting up with my 101 year mother in law thanks also to kitchen and bar staff

This time our visit was well under your level. Sorry but had to send it back. Tasted like a cheap Carvery meal from a food chain. We will be back as I’m sure this was just a bad day

I seldom feel sufficiently motivated to comment but sadly, my wife and i both agreed our thai green curry meals were luke warm and insipid. Otherwise a nice pub!
