We came from the opera in Glyndebourne to eat at 7.15pm. The table was beautifully set out ready for us. A nice oval table by the fire. We were all impressed with the choices on the menu and were happy with the food. There was a big 30th birthday party being celebrated in the room nearby but the 8 of us had all been together for the afternoon so were happy enough to talk in the ear of the friends either side of us. The staff apologised for the noisy party but it didn't bother us too much. The young team of staff were all fabulous. They smiled and were very attentive, some of the best service I've had in a pub for a while. We will definitely visit to eat again.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch. Food was lovely & staff were great , very attentive.
