We enjoyed our lunch very much but I really wanted fish and chips but it wasn’t on the menu.

Service wasn’t good, and we are not one to complain specially as I used to work as a Waitrose but the service was so slow the whole time. My sons food came out later (specifically asked it to come with our starters) and I think it’s just common sense that you bring the children’s food first, when his did come he had beans when I had ordered peas and the plate was piping hot so had to ask for another plate to transfer the food onto, I said I asked for peas and the Waitrose didn’t say much just I thought she might apologise as they ill bring them straight out but didn’t. Once eaten I asked for another portion of peas (he didn’t eat the beans of course) while we eat our mains. They never came, well they did but once he was eating his desert? Again ordered pudding straight away as they cleared our mains plates as we realised how slow everything was and it was still a 30 minute wait snd when I asked if we could just cancel it as it was taking to long and we needed to leave and the waitress said the fondant takes 12 minutes hence the wait. Well that didn’t explain the 30 minute wait, snd no one told us this. By the end I just wanted to leave it was not a good experience and it’s a shame as we hardly find the time to go out and eat as a family. Food wasn’t of the normal standard, majority of my partners mussles were closed up.

Great food and great service!

Had my dad's 70th birthday meal here, table of 12 the food was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. All 12 of us had rooms and were happy with them. Breakfast was great too. This was the 2nd time I have have been here and will return. Plus we will recommend to more family and friend. Thank you for a wonderful time to make great memories
