Sat in the family / party area and had to ask if we could be moved to a more intimate place as we were celebrating our anniversary. Once moved, Had to wait an hour before asking if someone could take our order! Cutlery had marks on them

We have been coming here quite often as the food and service was very good but for some reason the service was poor on this occasion and has put us off of returning. The food however was still very good, so thanks to the chef's. The staff were not as attentive as previous visits, for example making sure we had enough drinks. Two of the glasses were dirty as they had lipstick left round the rim. They were not exceptionally busy or they were short staffed either, so I don't know what went wrong. Our friends felt the same and we were quite embarrassed as we had been so happy with previous visits. Also wanted to mention on previous visits we put down a deposit upon making reservation and they forgot to take this off the bill on one visit, and we had to tell them to take it off our following visit.

Apologies but my feedback is very negative. I’d called twice to prearrange high chairs and there were none when we arrived. It took about 10 minutes to sort and this was stressful as we were aware of disturbing 2 ladies who were in our section having lunch. The meals were awful. The fish finger sandwiches had been placed under the heat lamp so the bread appeared stale. The salad was horrible. The 2 guests eating chicken and bacon rolls left them as the chicken tasted of fish, cross contamination, and the bacon was barely cooked. The prawn salad smelt very strongly of fish, a sign that the prawns are not fresh. We had to go and get a waitress to both place our order and get our bill. I arranged the lunch and felt embarrassed as the food was so poor and therefore paid the whole bill. The waitresses were polite and cheerful but service was very poor. Sadly there will be no return visits for anyone in my party.

Excellent food good service pleasant atmosphere
We loved the dog loft and our waiter was impressively friendly and very efficient.....extremely good lunch.
