Very pleasant lunch and occasion in a great location.

Good food ( we went for brunch), well cooked and presented. Coffees were on the small side - half cup of foam. Service was poor, and not because staff were busy. Beautiful environment and lovely views over the vineyard.

A fabulous experience all round and great to see you so busy !

We always enjoy our visits - and I like the shop being so instantly integrated into the cafe. Some suggestions which may be of interest: Shop: For gifts, I would have liked to have seen full/half quality aprons and insulated single and double bottle bags perhaps with two glasses as part of the set. Or a gift set of six glasses. Half-pint Cider/Beer glasses. Cork mats in two sizes (bottle and pot). An offer of the week or month to encourage us to try or buy. Entranceway downstairs - a large-scale painting / photo of estate or owners or history would, I think, help to introduce us boldly to the Estate and add to the expectation. I understand the entranceway needs to be kept clear so perhaps verticals would be one solution - just to make visitors feel they have truly arrived. Perhaps some echo of the interior of the cafe itself? We all like something to look at and savour! Cleanliness: I stopped short of full marks only because the swing doors between cafe and toilets were fingerprint-smudgy. Quite understandable as one needs to push and pull but it made me wary of touching them - not just Covid - all communicable viruses etc.
