Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. As a result, only parties from the same household are permitted to book a single table in our café. Please note, all members of the party are required by law to register their own track and trace details. Find out more about this here.

Please note that you will have 2 hours for your table booking.

Would have expected a bit of salad and a dip with our squid, although the squid itself was very good.

This is a fantastic place! Food was amazing, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their wine, the restaurant itself is superb, wonderful views of the vineyard. Clearly set out to take account of current Covid situation! I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend it !

Hi, we had a nice meal for our first visit, and the host was very helpful, and took feedback on the coffee very well. The food was tasty, and the desserts very good. It would have helped to have someone ready to greet guests/some signage, as we were standing around for the few minutes, made more difficult by trying to respect the limited numbers in the shop. Further, not sure that we were credited on the bill for the £6 table holding fee, but can't find the receipt to check. You have a lovely venue, and perhaps we would return on a summer's day when we could sit outside, but the inside ambience has been impacted by social distancing.

Food was outstanding however service let it down. We ordered a wine flight and the server described the first wine, named the next two and then when it got to the fourth said she wasn’t even sure what it was as she didn’t see what we ordered.. once our food came out we were asked if we would like side plates as we were sharing a number of dishes but these never appeared. Staff were friendly don’t get me wrong but lots of small things let it down. We ordered extra wine with one server and it never came and someone else checked we were okay so we had to order again as the first server had forgotten. Stunning location and food but perhaps service could be reviewed

A very enjoyable visit but my husband didn’t realise until we got home that the deposit we paid when booking had not been deducted from the final bill. However, we should have realised at the time and it did not spoil our visit.

This was a lovely place to have breakfast and we enjoyed our visit very much the food was good value for money however we had concerns; the service was very slow and a request for a second cup of coffee got forgotten. The people serving were very nice though, but it really was slow. Our main concern and something that concerned us all was that there appeared to be a lack of hygiene precautions in the kitchen so that there were no hair protectors no beard protectors and no masks being used by any of the staff in the kitchen which came as quite a surprise to us and was something that none of us were comfortable with. It also has to be said that the toilets were not that clean either. We would go back again it is a lovely place to visit and the staff are very friendly but it would be good to see that some of these concerns had been addressed in the meantime. I hope that this feedback is helpful to you.
