Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. Disappointed visit I am sorry to say. Nice atmosphere and outlook and peaceful location. However obvious staff shortage at first and we got wrong drink order . Change offered. Food not up to standard expected. Lack of full service we would have liked possibly due to staffing .Our visit was at the end of a v hot week and you may also have had water supply issues.

Still hungry when we left..perhaps rolls instead of crackers on the mezze would help. Wine was lovely but warm when it arrived in an ice bucket. We were on a tabke for 2 outside but tables are too small so got to g 2 plates and an ice bucket on was not comfortable plus there is no glass top on tables of 2 so glass slides about and food gets stuck in between wicker. I paid a £3 deposit which was not noted on bill which I discovered on arriving home. Over all the experience we were not impressed with but your wine is very good (better when served cold!).

Food was very good, wine of course excellent. Service, whilst genuinely sincere it was obvious there were too few staff (only two) and they were exhausted but kept up a very good show. We were not explained the menus fully and missed out on the wine flights as they were not offered to us though we later heard them being offered and explained to an adjacent table. The toilets needed attention, it was the end of what looked like a very busy day.

The reason I feel I have to score the food so low is that the vegetarian option (lasagne) was both uninteresting and not very good. Teaming it with some leaves and a piece of garlic bread reminded me of pub food from 20 years ago. I felt very disappointed, particularly when I compared it to the other options which seemed to be imaginative and well thought out. Everything else was superb, including my friend's meal. Sorry to have to write this, but I think it's time restaurants put a little thought and imagination, abundant fresh vegetables and some interesting ingredients into the vegetarian option.

Unfortunately I felt the service was a bit erratic (apart from lovely new girl who tried hard)-had to ask for specials, had to ask for cutlery to be brought out after waiting for ages and only when home realised my booking deposit hadn’t been taken off the bill. Beautiful wine and location but overall disappointing experience for the money.
