Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. As a result, only parties from the same household are permitted to book a single table in our café. Please note, all members of the party are required by law to register their own track and trace details. Find out more about this here.

Please note that you will have 2 hours for your table booking.

We were really pleased with our visit and we plan to return to Bolney WE. Service was obviously going to be difficult given the circumstances and the length of time since you've been open and I'm sure staff will become more slick as workers get used to the circumstances. Juggling retail and food/drink sales at the same time must be difficult and perhaps staff could be dedicated to particular roles to help with efficiency.

We had a lovely meal. Food was excellent. It was out first night out after lockdown and measures taken in the restaurant made us feel relaxed and safe. A few more people would have improved the ambience but early days.

Really good lunchtime/birthday experience and impressed with your wines. However the booking deposit wasn't knocked off my bill - ok, so its only £4.50 and I can appreciate it's probably a new system as the vineyard has only just re-opened so there are likely to be a few teething issues. I didn't notice at the time either but I will speak to the team separately to arrange a refund. Kind Regards Andrew Gale

I know we have to all sit away from each other but it does affect the atmosphere. Gone are the heady days of a 'buzz'. I suppose it is something we will all have to get used to. So lovely to eat out again though. thankyou

The staff are still getting used to the new way of working and did very well. The coffee machine makes a horrendous noise which dominates the atmosphere when seated inside, making it difficult for conversation amongst guests - sorry!

Thank you for all you are doing to keep us safe whilst dining with you. I do have one comment to make about the wearing of gloves. I am a nurse and there is a move to stop inappropriate glove use, which is putting on a pair of gloves and thinking everything is going to be safe. In my profession if we do a job that requires gloves, they are changed from one job to the next. I saw the waitress touch her visor (contaminated) but not change them or wash her hands. In my opinion I’d feel safer observing staff using sanitiser after every job they do. Especially after cleaning a table or removing used crockery before the next thing they have to do. Gloves encourage cross contamination. Another point which even health care people have been seen to do is sanitise the gloves. This weakens the gloves and so they won’t protect the wearer.
