Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Delicious breakfast as usual. Only lost 1 star as last time I came I had the veggie breakfast and the falafel were round and so deliciously light but yesterday they were oval and very dense and hard- just not quite so nice. Everything else 100% fab!

Nothing to say for yesterday’s service, everything was impeccable! Very friendly waiters !! However I just want to point out something that happened a few weeks ago, we arrived at the cafe at 4h20pm for a coffee, knowing that it was closing at 5pm. When we arrived, the waitress saw us but completely ignored us and went to chat with the bartender. So we went there and asked if it was still ok to have a coffee as there was still about half an hour to go. The waitress did not answer and left, the bartender looked at his watch, clearly annoyed, and said well “we’re closing but yeah ok however you have to be quick”. The waitress was still giving us attitude and was rushing us, so I told her that I don’t understand the whole situation as it clearly says 5pm on the website, and we don’t feel welcomed right now, so I’d rather leave if this is the kind of service we were getting this day. I think she then realised it was maybe wrong and she justified her behaviour by saying that it was a long and busy day. I get it, I’m in customer service too, however : the website says it closes at 5pm not 4h30, which in this case I would have agreed that showing up at 4h20 was “last minute”. She still carried on justifying that they are pressured to close on time etc, but first.. sorry but it’s not the customers problem to know wether or not it was a busy day or if you are pressured to close on time, and second the website states 5pm! The table next to us turned around and said they were given the same treatment 5 mins ago and agreed that it was unacceptable and a big shame for a place like this. So yes this is what happened, and I do want to say that it was un isolated case, we are regular customers, the service is great, but not this day, but that won’t keep us from coming back because we love your place! However you do need to work on this if this is a regular issue, by changing the opening times or just by reminding the staff that closing time is closing time, not before…

We had a great morning at Bolney and the new front of house manager is very attentive and gives a very personalised and personalable service. He sought our advice and kept checking everything was okay for us but without being obtrusive.
