British, Cafe, Kids friendly

Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. As a result, only parties from the same household are permitted to book a single table in our café. Please note, all members of the party are required by law to register their own track and trace details. Find out more about this here.

Please note that you will have 2 hours for your table booking.

Lovely start to our day celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. Food was well cooked, hot and full of flavour. Service was friendly but professional, the little acknowledgements of our special day greatly appreciated.

It took a long time to get our food, I think we had been there about 40 mins before we got served. I guess that as we only ordered the Eton Mess, we expected it quickly.

Our brunch for meat or fish eaters was delicious, but unfortunately for the vegan in our party the choice was extremely limited. Little tweaks to the menu ie Vegetarian sausages, avocado, pancakes / non dairy yoghurts etc would make the experience great for vegetarians and vegans

We enjoyed our visit. We were seated outside on a small table with fold-up patio chairs. These were, to my mind, rather cheap-looking and not very comfortable -a member of staff changed them on request. The Rosemary fries were not very exciting given the quality of the rest of the menu. Also, could you give the option of some interesting breads? Apart from these small comments we had a lovely anniversary lunch and appreciated the provision, at the end, of petit four with a congratulatory message.

Menu was limited but what we had was very good. Very good covid precautions. A really enjoyable couple of hours and will definitely revisit
