Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the terrace was amazing in the sun. The food had so much promise. The selection was offer sounded delicious land it was presented amazingly but sadly it was under seasoned. The staff seemed super busy so we couldn’t catch anyone to tell them and we were meant to be having a wine flight with our food which arrived after we had finished all our food, despite us trying to eat slowly in anticipation. The staff were lovely and very apologetic. We would love to go back and try again. It was just a shame because there was so much promise and we were so excited for that occasion.

I think we went on the busiest day, so service was a bit slow. The cheese plate was delicious - although not massively inspiring plate. The people were lovely and it's a beautiful spot. I wish we could have booked a table outside.

The service was incredibly slow (we were at the far end of the balcony)and I had to go to the counter twice to ask for service. I was surprised that I couldn’t get a glass of the cuvee rose in a vineyard! The food was nice but I would prefer to see a wider range of meals on the menu, rather than just small plates. There seems to be a lot of untapped potential and with a few tweaks this could be a super eating venue as well as selling great wine and I’d be more inclined to visit more often.

So sorry the service let us down . The food was tasty and Nicely presented and we enjoyed our meal. However we had to wait over an hour for our table and only offered water. We waited nearly 2 hours to get a drink and to have our order taken. The staff were lovely but were understaffed and seemed to have no concept of service. We had to ask for everything, to just getting a menu, to clear the table, to bring cutlery, to order a drink, missed meal , to order dessert. Such a disappointment. We are local and have visited you many times and love to recommend you but feel badly let down.

Bread!!!! This should be available esp with wine being drunk. More choices on menu. We asked for separate bills we didn't get one but all staff pleasant and cheerful. There were no clear directions to taster tour, this meant many of the other parties arrived late so talk started late.however the man who did the tour/talk was very good and informative. The talk and tasting was great, very enjoyable. But again I say bread , why oh why do you not have this available. Very odd.

We were disappointed that the lunch menu was only snacks and light bites - we booked wanting to also have a nice meal after the wine tasting . Otherwise a lovely place and thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting and tour !
