Took too long to get orders and be served. Glasses dirty and glass of wine was from a bottle that had been open for a while.

Waited over hour and half for food cold when came out sent back still not hot second time it's not staff fault felt for staff serving I know its trail and error and not cooks in kitchen fault think down to management letting to many people order maybe relook at booking system covid isn't helping lot of people getting refunds we stuck it out hope it gets better for you all

We visited for lunch for mums birthday. We were welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. We were shown To our table in the new pergola area outdoors which was lovely. Even though a reduced menus there were lots of choice! All home cooked food and made fresh and brought to your table! Fabulous organisation under the current guidelines, definitely recommend!

Our booking was initially pushed back due to over booking for 1/2 hr. When we arrived we were told there was 30 min wait for food. When we ordered we were told it would be 50 min wait. When 1 hr had passed we asked about where our food was and were told ‘I will go and check for you’ - the food eventually arrived after 1hr & 25 mins of waiting!! We had my elderly father in law with us and he is very frail. He could hav waited 1/2 for food but by the time the food came he was ready to leave being cold and uncomfortable. I felt bad for the staff as they were obviously not prepared for the amount of customers but the place was almost empty by the time our food arrived. I was Ok to give them the benefit of the doubt for the first weekend of opening but if it happened again I would ask for a refund as it wasn’t cheap. Many customers in the same boat were demanding refunds. As far as the menu was concerned it was very limited to just a carvery dinner or burgers. Also, the toilets were not very clean and there was no toilet roll in the cubicles. So, overall not a great experience and it was my 25th Wedding Anniversary
