Stopped off for lunch with our grandchildren, had a lovely meal, staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us all

Food was really well presented and was excellent and extremely great value for money only problem was service let them down seemly our food went to wrong table!!! and we waited then for nearly an hour for replacement food this was extremely strange as we were the only table of 3 in at the time other tables were either 2,4 and 5??? Then two soups instead of one then one pudding instead of 3 then I noticed table opposite had similar problems served gent first and then his companion waited another 20 mins for her food so looks like this is a problem either with orders placed into the kitchen or kitchen mix ups either way it let down what was fabulous food. We had to ask several times and only after we asked what would they offer did we get free drinks while we waited. Such a shame as pre COVID never had a problem and this was first time visit back after opening up ☹️

Lovely food and the staff were brilliant. I took my mum here for her birthday. She's intolerant to a lot of things and I booked the table late the night before, so I wasn't sure if there would be anything she could eat as we didn't give the pub any notice. The staff were very accommodating and understanding about it, they explained everything. It was great that the veggie roast option is also gluten free, and there were even two gluten free pudding options!

Service was lovely and friendly. Excellent menu choice. Seating inside and out is very good. Thank you, we will visit again.
