Excellent the food was very good service a little slow due to short staffing sure will get right as the present situation eases will definitely return in the future when in the area

The staff were pleasant and polite, however they forgot to take our food order for 20 minutes, when we managed to get their attention it then took an hour for the food to arrive. We had booked for 12:30 and didn't eat until 2pm. The food was OK when it did turn up. We might have visited on a bad day. There was one of those cringy "nobody wants to work anymore" signs on the bar which should have set alarm bells ringing.

We were really disappointed on Father's Day. We booked a few weeks before for 4:00 pm for 5 people and had another family engagement arranged for after this so thought we would have finished our meals by about 6:00 pm. We were told we could only have the table for 2 hours and were happy with this. We were seated quite quickly and ordered food and drink at about 4.15. We are not people to complain but our main meals didn't arrive until 6.45. What made things worse was that we were not offered an explanation as to why this was taking so long or even offered a complimentary drink. We obviously had to buy more drinks due to such a long wait. We fully appreciate there are delays during COVID but we noticed two groups of diners next to us who came in after us got their meals before us. We are not complainers but this pushed us to the limit. Even if your staff had tried to at least communicate with us but instead we had to finally ask if we would have to wait much longer. The sad thing is that we had such a good experience when we visited in May and I left a really good review and even got a message back from Jamie Jones on 3rd May saying thank you and that he 'couldn't wait to see us again'. The icing on the cake was when we were asked 'are youse after dessert?' by a member of staff. We were slightly shocked at being asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu like that! Once again, we fully appreciate there will be delays and as always the food was good but this has really made us feel so differently about one of our favourite places to eat. Obviously we didn't want to stay for dessert as it was so late (we did plan orginally to have 3 courses). Thank you for taking the time to read this. Mr and Mrs Pooler and family

A very enjoyable visit. Sunday dinner very substantial and very tasty. Our server at the table was a very accommodating, friendly young girl who worked hard all the time we were at the Bunbury, and what was lovely her smile never faded. All in all, a very, very nice experience at a very good price..
Food Was choice was poor, most options weren’t available. Wrong food was delivered, extra sides were late. Ut was our first time and we are Unlikely to return for food again. The waitress that served us was very good and tried her best albeit most items on the menu were out.
