What a fantastic place. Tim made us feel at home as soon as we entered the pub. The room was excellent, as were the evening meal and breakfast. We will stay again. Thank you

I would not hesitate recommending the Sunday lunch to anyone ... too far away (about an hour's drive) to visit on a regular basis

We love The Crown and rate the Sunday Roast especially highly which is why we must feedback that the cauliflower cheese in the veg medley last Sunday was not up to the usual excellent standard. We do have palates and it tasted distinctly sour like milk that has gone off. It looked reheated and the other veg also looked rather tired. The restaurant was not busy at the time we ate, (around 2:45pm), and this was a departure from the usual top quality food which is served here so we thought that this must be flagged up. Many thanks and see you again soon.

We visited The Crown Inn for the first time on Sunday. The food was out of this world. The service was second to none and Tim (the landlord) was extremely welcoming. We will DEFINITELY return. Thankyou.
My husband had the fish pie with beautifully cooked sprouting broccoli . I had the pork belly. The gravy was really tasty. We enjoyed our meal very much and hope to return.
