This was our first visit here in years. We used to be regulars - had one bad experience so stopped going. We were curious to see what it was going to be like after rebranding/changing hands. We booked a table in which we had to wait for. The lady behind the bar was friendly. Once we got upstairs it took about 5 Mins for them to bring menus over. Drinks were ordered but not correct. Had no sparkling water & forgot my coke. The young chap with blonde hair made it very clear he didn’t really know what he was doing. We had to prompt him to take our order and when clearing plates he kept dropping things ‘It’s my 4th week’. ‘Sorry I’m not very professional’. If it was his first week we’d understand but not 4th!! The food was impeccable. So tasty, piping hot and fresh, came out very quickly. Service was very strange and made us all feel a little awkward. “Is the bill Gorgeous?” Don’t think we’ve ever been asked that before?!!
