Used to be my local but moved away, returned here for the first time in 14 years and wow it is still the same high quality food. Decor has changed and amazingly Anwar is still the chef who has a great memory as recongnised me. Will certainly pop by again. Try this great place, you will no tbe disappointed

Always a nice night out at Darjeeling. Food was great. We had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a Monday night, so lacking in atmosphere but ideal for what we wanted as a group.

A usual the food was first class. Without doubt the best Indian Restaurant in the area. Have had many meals and takewaways and would not go anywhere else. Have recommended to friends all of whom have been equally happy.

Lovely meal out with the Mrs. Food was delicious and he servivce was impeccable. Lovely pints of Cobra and the whole experience was first class. We had not visited for a while but we will be back again very soon.

Four of us chose different main courses which were very tasty with interesting selection of spices, without being too hot. A number of dishes on the menu you don't normally see. Only reason ambience marked low is because it was quiet at time of visit.

Best ever meal
Best curry that I have ever had - and my party of four all agreed. Returning again next week.
