Would only recommend clearly advising 2 hour booking prior at booking stage and not just stating on confirmation email as I didn’t realise until asked for table back. Staff were lovely in helping us move around for next hour (outside and then inside again) but it would have helped to know timeframe before hand, especially when ordering drinks not long before table was needed back. Didn’t detract from a lovely evening though.

We had a lovely time as a family, the service was brilliant as always and the food was delicious! We also enjoyed some cocktails and wine! Cant wait to return

Food was great, service at the Dark Horse was great. Had booked a table online for 5pm, only found out when we arrived that the kitchen did not reopen until 5:30. No notice of this when booking, would have been useful to know at time of booking. I had to leave at 6pm so thought i would have enough time to order food and eat but the unknown kitchen delay meant i had to leave at 5:30 (without any food!) to find food elsewhere. Think it would be useful to have the kitchen closure on the booking system so that future customers are aware (Apologies if it is on there and I've missed it, couldn't see anything in booking confirmation either). Partner and mother in law stayed after I had left and did enjoy the rest of their time.

Generally quite disappointed. We were crushed on to a high table in the corner which really wasn’t big enough for 5 people on the most uncomfortable, wobbly barstools. Menu wasn’t very exciting, food was totally mediocre and overpriced
