Hi we had dinner on Thursday 19th August at 7.30pm with friends. Food was slow and starters were forgotten. We indicated that we were happy to go with just mains and might look at desserts. We had to ask for drinks and ask to order our deserts. More money could have been made from us if only the staff checked back on us occasionally.

I gave 8 out of 10 for food only because there was little choice for me as a veggie. Although I just asked for one breakfast without the bacon. Can't put my finger on why I gave 8 out of 10 for ambience!

Disappointing - the food was fairly average as was the cafe and service. Perhaps our expectations were too high, having been recommended to go there.

Lovely food ..decor outside could be made to be a bit more attractive.. linen napkins. It's quite expensive for what it is .. a cafe more than a restaurant... but We will come back as the fish selection is great
As always excellent food, warm ,friendly and efficient staff! Highly recommend.
