Food of great quality as usual. Food service great too. It all fell down when we came to pay. Shame you can't set up separate tabs when there's a group booking so I had to manually apportion the bill. The restaurant we visited (with 18 diners, not 9) on Friday night was happy to set up separate tabs, which made the whole process so much easier. Then after one person had paid we were told we couldn't add a tip to the bill when paying by card, tips were only accepted in cash. I have never, ever, ever, ever been to a restaurant with that rule. Result £5 overspend. Also I had prepaid £100 but my bill was only £90. Another £10 overspend. Agreed I could have deducted the £15 from other diners bills and ask them to refund me but a) it was a social gathering not an accountants' ball and b) I had been enjoying wine so perhaps wasn't with the clearest head. I asked for a £15 refund - not allowed apparently. Then asked for a £15 credit for use on next visit. That's not allowed either apparently. Overall, a lovely evening spoilt somewhat at the end by overly officious and unhelpful staff member (who shall remain nameless). It won't stop me coming again, but left a bad taste at the end of an otherwise lovely evening.

We were so well looked-after. They made off-menu scrambled eggs for our toddler and took his pushchair away for us. Quick, friendly service with a smile. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

We had a divine evening at The Deck. I highly recommend the lobster with fries and salad. The boys enjoyed their surf and turf and the St Tropez rose perfect to wash it down. Staff are really lovely and attentive. We were sitting on the balcony enjoying the view.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who dealt with the late arrival of some of our party without a blink.
