We were looking forward to eating at The Deck, but we’re quite disappointed with the quality of staff. Nearly all our meals went to other tables, before reaching ours, we constantly had to ask for small things like butter, sauces etc. the food was mediocre. We had the burger and was the driest burgers I’ve ever had. Sorry but won’t be visiting for an evening meal again.

Burger was a bit dry. I asked for the thai salad as a main but came as a starter during main. We waited about 30 minutes for food to arrive. Lack of vegan options available. The view and outside eating is the main pull for me. Otherwise, staff welcoming and friendly.

Sat outside on a beautiful day, had a fantastic lunch, with top notch service provided by the waitress Grace!. Highly recommended

It was all fine—until it came to paying the bill, when I was made to look like an idiot in front of the friends whom I had invited to join me, on the basis that I had been given some Deck discount vouchers. When I made the booking I had been told that I could use two vouchers to cover six of us (which by any application of logic is no different to using one voucher for four of us and one voucher for two of us on separate tables). When I came to pay I was told that we actually couldn't use both vouchers—although I had raised this when I made the booking and was told it would be ok, on the basis that each voucher didn't apply to more than four people. The manager basically said that this must be wrong and implied that I was lying. Not a good look—and it spoiled what was otherwise an enjoyable evening.
