Great food and great location! Staff are all so friendly and seem to enjoy their work. Always a pleasure to go there.

Overall thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but the following small points were commented upon: Disappointing that our first choice of scallops (starter) not available. Portion size of mackerel starter on the small side. Table not set when we arrived and we felt perhaps that our on line booking had been missed. One of wine glasses was not thoroughly clean and had to be pointed out to waitress.

We had a lovely family gathering and enjoyed a long conversation after our meal, but we thought it rude, to be told that our table needed to go back into rotation, even though there were plenty of empty table available and no guests appeared to be waiting for a table.
Mistake made with the bill but it was easily rectified.
