We enjoyed our starters which were garlic prawns and mussels we both had the hake which we both have enjoyed before but this time mine batter was not cooked through it was to thick. But we will be back.

Travelled from Salisbury to meet friends for lunch. Delicous prawns and fish of the day Lemon Sole. Worth the trip. Two others had the Fish and chips.. but portion of fish a bit small

My companion ordered the Aubergine, which she'd thoroughly enjoyed on a previous visit. Unfortunately it arrived undercooked. It was replaced without fuss, however; I feel it shouldn't have been sent out in the 1st place. The 2nd Aubergine, whilst hot & cooked more thoroughly, was still 'woody' in texture. Maybe it's worth considering not offering Aubergine if it's now out of season? To finish on a positive; my burger was very tasty.

Breakfast was delicious as always and cake was an unexpected pleasure which I must sadly avoid becoming routine!

First time visit, lovely place, lovely atmosphere. My wife has lobster which she adores, and there was a really nice burger treat for me the non fish eater :D , thank you so much we had a lovely time. will be back for sure, maybe for one of your breakfasts :)
