Very gracious staff. We were booked outside, the weather deteriorated and we were given a quick call and we were offered a suitable inside table by the window. Excellent and friendly staff.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere friendly staff who accommodated our change in time and very tasty food using good quality ingredients we will be back again

I'm very conflicted. My wife had scallops and hake, both plates were amazing. I had oysters and lobster, both disappointing. 2 out of 3 of my oysters were tiny, it looked like one has been divided into 2 shells to make the portion, while my half lobster was partly missing (I only found meat from the tail and claw while the body and the toe were empty). The tail tasted rubbery and overcooked, like it was prepared the previous day, certainly not worth £32.00. Overall, not good enough for me, but I'm glad that my wife at least will have a good memory of the experience.

We visited on Sunday for my husband’s birthday. We requested a high chair (which was approved via email) for our booking. When we arrived we were taken to our tiny table for 2 (this isn’t ideal when dining with a toddler!) and told “if you’re expecting a high chair we don’t have any” - they’d been given out to other children in the restaurant. The attitude of this particular waitress was vulgar! So unhelpful. She just shrugged her shoulders and huffed. Face like a slapped behind!!! (The 1 star is purely for her). A different waitress pulled out all the stops and went above & beyond to find us a highchair at a local pub. What a super star! All other members of staff were lovely too - As was the seafood platter. Overall it was a nice lunch for my husband’s special day. Just a shame we were both so offended by one member of staff.
