We love it at The Deck - great place to eat and feels like having a bit of a holday!

Service was friendly and efficient, reflecting the informal atmosphere and pleasant 'ambience' - due to the staff being very busy 2 reminders were needed to obtain the Bill. Our 3 Starters were delicious, we chose Scallops, Mussels and Prawns. Main courses of Mackerel and Hake were very good too, the Chips a wee bit soggy & limp. Possibly bulk pre-cooked and then reheated? The real downside was the long queue for the ONE unisex toilet which did not seem to be for the exclusive use of Diners. The hand drier was 'Out of Order' but no paper towels were provided, nor a Bin to dispose of toilet tissue which had to be used for drying hands. (ambience like a pre 60's French toilet)

Very enjoyable lunch. The Seafood sharing platter was really good although I thought the lobster was a bit overcooked

We enjoyed our latest visit to The Deck as did our friends. The food was its usual high standard but unfortunately the background music was so loud that it was difficult to hear our full conversation so we decided to leave after the meal and go home for coffee. Our guests ask for the music to be turned down but it was not. This was disappointing as The Deck is our 'GO TO' place to take friends.
