My family enjoyed their visit, and the food was well prepared and cooked. The only downside for me was that, being pescetarian, the options were limited by the use of beef dripping & bone marrow, e.g. Beetroot and Goat's Cheese starter, normally one of my favourites, had "crispy smoked bone marrow", the Trout Crumpet was off the menu, and the chips with the Battered Market Fish were cooked in dripping. Other than that, it was ok.

Very short staffed. stood 10 mins at the bar before being showed to our table. food only average. Would have preferred lighter bite options on the menu for lunchtime.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch as the food was delicious with plenty of it. However, we were a little disappointed that here were no high chairs available for my 10 month old Granddaughter. We felt a bit rushed to eat our lunch as she wouldn't settle in her pushchair. She does enjoy sitting at the table with us and usually enjoys a little lunch herself. I would of thought they would at least have one high chair on the premises.

10/10 all round - food, surrounds, staff etc. Absolutely perfect

We were given far too much food for 3 people to finish. Also, I couldn't eat the Eton Mess dessert as it had too many blobs of clotted cream in it. Regarding the service, I was disappointed to find the table had not been set with cutlery/napkins before we arrived, and so our friend Margaret ended up with her trousers being dripped on with lager & blackcurrant as the bottom of the glass was covered in overspill.
Beautiful food, good choice of menu. Would highly recommend and will definitely return
