We've been to The Dog a few times now and the service and food is exceptional. We travel a good hour or so to get there each time but it's well worth it. The food is always served in a timely manner and beautifully presented. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing ever seems to much trouble. It's definitely our go to place especially for the Sunday lunch.

It was a brilliant night out the food was amazing some of the best food I have ever had. Service was very good all the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Place was very quaint would absolutely recommend it.

The first time we’ve eaten dinner at The Dog in a long time and we brought friends who’d never been before. Dinner was excellent and was proclaimed to be the best meal she’d ever had in a restaurant, by our friend and in particular she loved the Trifle. Staff were attentive, but not overbearing and the bill at the end of the evening was very reasonable. We did find the noise level a little high, as the evening wore on, but this was to be expected as there were a number of Christmas parties dining. We look forward to our next visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.
